Pixies are mythical creatures of folklore. Similarly to the fairy, they are very helpful little creatures that wave wands and grant wishes.
Wish Pixie is a gift sharing community where friends can get together to buy a gift for a special occasion according to their wishes. Need funds for a special goal? Get family and friends to Chip In, donate and celebrate your cause.
Mission
Wish Pixie’s mission is to help people share special moments with each other, to make the social experience a little more personal and memorable, to make a friend’s list mean so much more than just numbers and status updates. This concept hopes to help every member of the Wish Pixie community feel remembered, celebrated and special.
Philosophy/Values
The social network has become one where we have 100’s of friends but we most times communicate with only 25% of them. It was intended that these networks were to assist people to keep in touch. Wish Pixie believes that this can be more effective if we also help these individuals to share moments with each other by celebrating special days.
Wish Pixie does not intend to compete with social networks but to enhance them by adding this feature to help friends share moments.
